The Software Quality Systems AG was a consulting firm based in Cologne and is now known as Expleo Technology Germany GmbH . The company described itself as the largest specialized provider of quality management - services and continuous quality control for business processes in software-based systems.

The SQS Group was founded in 1982 in Cologne as SQS Gesellschaft für Software-Qualitätssicherung mbH and employs around 4,600 people.
