Church interior

The church complex was first mentioned in a document in 1365. The choir comes from the 14th or 15th century, the nave is from the late Gothic style. The sacred building has been incorporated into Rein Abbey since 1607 .

The one-bay choir is vaulted with ribs , the lower nave consists of three bays with a ribbed vault. Of the glass windows in the choir area, the design of the middle Franz Weiss (1970) and that of the two side Fritz Silberbauer (1930) can be attributed. The sacred building has a massive tower with an onion and lantern at the end. The Sebastian Chapel, south of the choir, was built before the plague of 1723.

The high altar of the church dates from 1620 and was brought to Sankt Pankrazen by Rein Abbey in 1968. The focus is on the statue of St. Pankraz from the 19th century. The side altars are from the 17th century, the left with a late Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary. The pulpit is from 1718. In addition to the baroque organ there is a Gothic, twelve-sided baptismal font, various paintings with depictions of Saints Cecilia and David. The bells were cast in 1471 and 1696.

graveyard

Around the parish church there is a small cemetery surrounded by a defensive wall. Two gates are set into the wall, one of which has a staircase.

Anna Chapel

The small and tall chapel of St. Anna in the cemetery , integrated into the masonry, was originally called Martinskapelle . The late Gothic building on the gable, dated 1497, has a single bay and a ribbed vault and is entered through a pointed arch portal. The roof turret is crowned with an onion roof. The altar inside the chapel dates from the third quarter of the 17th century. The late Gothic statue of Anna Selbdritt was created around 1520/30.

Rectory

The rectory, which is also listed, stands outside the churchyard walls. The two-storey building with its vaulted rooms has stucco ceilings on the ground floor.
