Scheludjowo ( Russian Желудёво , German Prosit ) is a small town in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg region (Prussia) ). It is located in the Prawdinsk district ( Friedland district (Ostpr.) ) And belongs to the Mosyrskoje selskoje posselenije (rural community Mosyr ( Klein Gnie , 1938–1945 Kleingnie )).

Geographical location

Scheludjowo is three kilometers southeast of Mosyr (Klein Gnie) on a cul-de-sac that branches off the side road from Mosyr on the Russian trunk road R 508 to Oserki (Georgenfelde) . Until 2001, Mosyr was the next train station on the Toruń – Chernyachovsk railway line (Thorn – Insterburg) , which has been decommissioned on the Russian section.

history

The village, formerly called Prosit , has been closely connected with Klein Gnie (from 1947 Russian: Mosyr) in its history to this day . As a district of small Compagnie it belonged 1874 to 1945 for the district of Klein Compagnie (1932-1945 District Compagnie ) in the district Gerdauen in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia .

As a result of the Second World War , northern East Prussia and with it Prosit came to the Soviet Union , which in 1947 was given the new name "Scheludjowo". The relationship with Klein Gnie (Russian: Mosyr) remained: until 2009, Scheludjowo in the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, since 1991/92 was incorporated into the Mosyrsky soviet (Dorfsovjet Mosyr) and has since been - due to a structural and administrative reform - a " Settlement “classified locality within the Mosyrskoje selskoje posselenije (rural municipality Mosyr) in Pravdinsk Raion .

church

Before 1945, Prosit and its predominantly Protestant population were parish in the parish of Klein Gnie (Mosyr). It belonged to the Gerdauen church district (Russian: Schelesnodoroschny) within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today, Scheludjowo lies within the church region of Chernyachovsk (Insterburg) , which belongs to the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
