Cutting mill was a district of the Flachslanden market in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia . After 1888 the mill was no longer run as a district.

geography

Today the wasteland is house number 4 in the village of Kemmathen . Immediately to the south are the Schneidmühlweiher, which are fed by the Weiherbach on which the mill was built. The Weiherbach is a right tributary of the Kemmathbach, which is a right tributary of the Zenn . Approx. The Brachberg ( 420  m above sea level ) rises 1 km to the north . A local road leads to a community road (0.1 km southwest), which leads to Kemmathen (0.3 km southwest) and Sondernohe (1.3 km northeast).

history

The granulator was first mentioned by name in 1837. It was built in the municipality of Virnsberg .

On May 1, 1978, the granulator was incorporated into the Flachslanden market as part of the regional reform .
