history

1294 was the place in a deed of donation, with the burgrave Friedrich III. of Nuremberg left possessions to the Teutonic Order of Virnsberg , first mentioned by name as "Hegninklingen". The place name means near the gorge of the Hegino , where Hegino is a personal name. In the 17th century the reference to this personal name had obviously already been lost and it was believed that the place name could be derived from Heim, accordingly the form "Haimbklingen" is attested from then on.

The monastery Heilsbronn received his eight properties, three of which in the Thirty Years' War remained inhabited.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Hainklingen formed a community with Schmalnbühl . There were eight properties in Hainklingen. The high court exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg of the Teutonic Order . The village and township government had the German Order of Coming Nuremberg held. All properties had the Teutonic Order as landlord ( Teutonic Order Coming Nuremberg: 2 courtyards, 2 half-courtyards, 1 quarter courtyard, 1 Tropfgut , 1 shepherd's house; German Order Coming Virnsberg : 1 courtyard)

As part of the community edict, Hainklingen was assigned to the Virnsberg tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Virnsberg, founded in 1811 . On June 12, 1824, Hainklingen was reorganized into the newly formed community of Neustetten . In the course of the regional reform , this community with Hainklingen was incorporated into the Flachslanden market on January 1, 1972.
