Towards the end of the 18th century, the Hummelhof belonged to cellars . The property was owned by the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Birkenfels as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Hummelhof was given house number 4 in the village of Kellern. Hummelhof with courtyard to the cellar (= Kesselhof ) had two subject families. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the municipal edict, the Hummelhof was assigned to the Flachslanden tax district formed in 1808 . This also belonged to the rural community Flachslanden founded in 1811 .
