A communal road leads to Dörflein (2 km northwest) or to Kellern (0.7 km southeast). The Treuchtlingen – Würzburg railway runs parallel to this . Another communal road leads to Flachslanden to State Road 2253 (1.2 km northeast).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1204 as "Rossebach". The place name is derived from a water body of the same name, the defining word of which is Ross. So it was called a brook where horses were watered. When a settlement at the train station arose in the 19th century, it was popularly called Rosenbach and the original place was Oberrosenbach.

The monastery Heilsbronn received his ten estates that in 1632 the Thirty Years' War were all burned and deserted.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were eleven properties in Rosenbach (ten estates, one empty building ) and a community shepherd's house . The high court exercised the manor company of the Lords von Seckendorff-Aberdar to a limited extent. If necessary, it had to be delivered to the Ansbach court box office in Brandenburg-Ansbach . The manor Unternehmerzenn held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Rosenbach was assigned to the Flachslanden tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Flachslanden, founded in 1811 . In the voluntary jurisdiction the whole place from 1820 to 1848 was under the patrimonial Unternzenn .
