Dörflein (colloquially: Derfla ) is a district of the municipality of Oberdachstetten in the district of Ansbach , Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the Franconian Rezat and the Katzbach, which flows into the Rezat as a left tributary. The Schlagholz is located in the southeast , approx. 0.75 km northwest of the Adelberg . A communal road leads to Berglein (0.4 km north) or to Rosenbach (2.3 km south-east).

history

The place was first documented in 1415 as "to the little village near Nydern Tagsteten". From this name it can be concluded that it was a late settlement of Nydern Tagsteten (this place no longer exists). Since there were no places in the immediate vicinity that ended in -dorf and thus the settlement was clearly identifiable, the actually general designation “little village” became the place name.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Berglein and Dorf formed a community. There were eight properties in Dörflein. The high court exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg . The village and community rule was held by the Teutonic Order Coming Virnsberg . The landlords were the Teutonic Order Coming Virnsberg (1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard, 1 Sechstelhof), the Teutonic Order Hospital Nürnberg der Kommende Nürnberg (2 courtyards), the Berglein parish (1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard) and the Eichstättischen Vogtamt Lehrberg (1 half courtyard ).

As part of the community edict, Dörflein was assigned to the Virnsberg tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Virnsberg, founded in 1811 . On June 12, 1824, Dörflein was reorganized into the newly formed community of Neustetten . A request from 1844 to form a separate community with Berglein was rejected because both places did not reach the minimum number of 20 families. On August 30, 1923, the redevelopment of Berglein and Dörflein to Mitteldachstetten was approved. In the course of the regional reform , the community of Mitteldachstetten was incorporated into Oberdachstetten on January 1, 1972.
