The Schnell Havel nature reserve is located in the districts of Barnim and Oberhavel in Brandenburg .

The area was placed under nature protection by ordinance of October 28, 2014 . The approximately 2,463 hectare nature reserve through which the Schnell Havel flows extends between the city center of Zehdenick in the north and the city center of Oranienburg in the south. On the northern edge the state road L 213 runs, to the east and through the area the L 21. In the northern area of ​​the area the B 109 and in the southern area the B 96 run west.
