Meaning and effect
The album Schoolly-D is considered a hip-hop classic, especially because of the song PSK - What Does It Mean? , which was a blueprint for gangsta rap and inspired other pioneers of the subgenre such as NWA and Ice-T . The latter called PSK - What Does It Mean? as one of the greatest influences for his song 6 in the Mornin ′ , which transformed gangsta rap into west coast hip-hop , in the form of which it finally became world-famous.
