The Scottish U-20 national football team is a national team of Scottish football players. It is subject to the Scottish Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations or at the U-20 World Cup .

In their first World Cup finals in Mexico in 1983 , the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Poland . In 1987 she reached the quarter-finals again and only lost on penalties against the German team . In 2007 she was eliminated in the preliminary round at her last World Cup to date.
