Seehof is a district of the market in Dießen am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The hamlet Seehof is located about two kilometers southwest of Diessen between the Schatzberg and the Jungfernberg on the district Sankt Georgen.

history

From the Middle Ages to around 1800, the upper Wengener Weiher, also known as the Jägersee, was located near Seehof.

The monastery hunter of the Augustinian canons of Dießen lives here , so Seehof was first mentioned in 1652 as a Jägerhäusl .

Seehof was part of the municipality of Sankt Georgen, which was incorporated into Dießen in 1939 . Today there is a veterinary treatment center with a veterinary clinic in Seehof .
