The Seegrube transmitter is located on the Seegrube in the Innsbruck area above the city. It is a broadcasting system of the ORS and the ORF . It covers the greater Innsbruck area, from Schönberg in the Stubaital to Innsbruck, from Völs to Wattens . The internal name of the transmitter is Innsbruck2 . The Nordkettenbahn leads to the transmitter . Up until December 2008, the ORS Seegrube transmitter also broadcast digital radio ( DAB ) together with the Patscherkofel transmitter on the frequency 227.360 MHz (block 12 C). The antenna Tirol station can be received as far as Jenbach , Steinach am Brenner and Zirl due to its double transmission power compared to the ORF programs .
