Digital television ( DVB-T )

Norddeutsche Rundfunk took the Stadthagen and Rinteln broadcasters out of service on April 25, 2018 as part of the switch to DVB-T2 HD , thus foregoing the terrestrial reception of their own multiplexes in parts of the Schaumburg and Hameln regions . On November 10, 2016, the location was removed from the single-frequency network in the Hanover / Braunschweig region and the broadcast of the ARD bouquet by NDR on channel 47 was ended. The coverage of this area with television programs in the DVB-T2 standard is largely ensured by the Minden (Jakobsberg) transmitter ( WDR and ZDF offer). Since then, the state program Hallo Niedersachsen on NDR television has not been interrupted in favor of local time in South Westphalia , which was an important reason for the DVB-T broadcasts from the Stadthagen station.
