The telecommunications tower Sibbesse in Bad Salzdetfurth in Lower Saxony Hildesheim is a 1973 by the Federal Post Office on the Griesberg ( 358.9  m above sea level.  NHN ), the highest mountain in the Hildesheim Forest , erected telecommunications tower . It got its name from the neighboring community of Sibbesse . As a 128 m high reinforced concrete tower ( type tower FMT 2) it serves the non-public directional radio and supplies the region around Hildesheim with radio programs.

Digital radio ( DAB / DAB + )

Since August 31, 2012, digital radio in the DAB + standard has been broadcast in vertical polarization in the single frequency network with other transmitters. In addition to the nationwide multiplex, the range of programs offered by Norddeutscher Rundfunk was added on July 10, 2018.
