The transmitter Püttlingen-Schoksberg is a transmitter of the German radio tower in Püttlingen in Saarland . The transmitter uses a 287 m high guyed steel truss mast with a square cross-section as the antenna carrier. The mast of the transmitter is the tallest structure in Saarland.

Digital radio (DAB +)

The digital radio ( DAB + ) is broadcast in vertical polarization and in single-frequency mode with other transmitters.

Currently only the nationwide multiplex is broadcast on DAB channel 5C. DAB channel 8B was discontinued on January 3, 2012 and the SR's radio programs are broadcast on DAB channel 9A from Halberg's own transmitter mast .

Digital television (DVB-T2)

The DVB-T2 broadcasts in simulcast (Single Frequency Network) with other sites. The public broadcasters can be received free of charge, the private broadcasters are broadcast largely encrypted via the Freenet TV DVB-T2 platform .

Digital television (DVB-T)

From December 13, 2007 until the switch to DVB-T2 on March 29, 2017, the Püttlingen-Schoksberg station broadcast digital aerial television ( DVB-T ) with two public and one private multiplex channels for Saarland. The DVB-T broadcasts ran in single-frequency operation (Single Frequency Network) with other sites.

From May 31, 2016 to March 28, 2017, the Püttlingen-Schoksberg transmitter broadcast a ( DVB-T2 ) multiplex channel for Saarland. The public broadcasters were free to receive, the private broadcasters were broadcast in encrypted form via the Freenet TV DVB-T2 platform .
