Skutíčko (German Skutitschko ) is a district of the city of Skuteč in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers northwest of Skuteč and belongs to the Okres Chrudim .

geography

The Skutíčko Rundling is located at the foot of the Štěpánovská stupňovina ( Stiepanow stepland or seam mountains ) in the basin of a small tributary to the Anenský potok in the Skutečská pahorkatina ( Skutscher hill country ). State road II / 337 between Skuteč and Louka runs through the village . To the west of Skutíčko lies the Žejbro valley . In the northeast rises the Stračín ( Stratschin , 396 m nm), southeast the Fimberk (370 m nm), in the south the Horky, southwest the Zárubka (426 m nm) and in the northwest the Kostelecká hůra (432 m nm).

Neighboring towns are Chacholice, Obora and Hroubovice in the north, Pribylov and Štěpánov in the Northeast, Bílý Kopeček, colony and Drážnice the east, Skuteč in the southeast, Kantýna, Pondělíčkův Les and Porodnice in the south, Na Obci and Leštinka in the southwest, V Tyne and Vrbatův Kostelec in the west and Skála in the northwest.

history

At the beginning of the 13th century, Skutíčko belonged to the estates of the royal castle on the Humberg . The village was first mentioned in documents in 1289 as the property of the royal chamber. King John of Luxembourg transferred the area to Tas von Mrdice at the beginning of the 14th century, who had the new Rychmburk Castle built around 1325 , which he expanded into the center of a great rule.

In 1824 a lignite deposit was excavated near Skutíčko , the mine was closed again in 1834.

In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim district located rustic village Skutitschko or Skutičko of 44 houses, where 257 people lived. The main sources of income were agriculture and the linen and horse trade. The school was under the patronage of the community. The parish was Skutsch . Up to the middle of the 19th century Skutitschko remained subordinate to the Richenburg rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial Skutíčko formed from 1849 with the district Leštinka a municipality in the judicial district of Skuch . From 1868 the community belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Skutíčko had 260 inhabitants and consisted of 45 houses. In the 1870s Leštinka broke away from Skutíčko and formed its own community. During this period, the work in the Skutsch granite quarries in the Horky became a source of income for the residents of Skutíčko. In 1900 there were 301 people in Skutíčko, in 1910 there were 287. In 1930 Skutíčko had 236 inhabitants. In 1949 the community was assigned to the newly formed Okres Hlinsko, and since 1961 it has belonged to Okres Chrudim. On April 30, 1976 it was incorporated into Skuteč. In the 2001 census, 124 people lived in Skutíčko's 54 houses.
