Lešany (German Leschan ) is a district of the city of Skuteč in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southeast of Skuteč and belongs to the Okres Chrudim .
geography
Lešany is located on the upper reaches of the Lešanský creek in the Skutečská pahorkatina ( Skutscher hill country ). The railway line Svitavy – Žďárec u Skutče runs on the western edge of the village ; however, there is no stopping point in Lešany. In the east, the state road II / 354 between Předhradí and Krouna passes Lešany. The Na Prutech (509 m nm) rises to the southwest.
Neighboring towns are Ochoz, Lažany and Předhradí in the north, Hněvětice , Pangrotka and Na Volavkách in the Northeast, Kutrin and Podměstí the east, Březiny, Rovinka and Miřetín the southeast, Otradov and Krouna in the south, Hesiny, Spálená Sazka, Pokřikov and Raná in the southwest, Oldřetice , Mrákotín and Radčice in the west and Žďárec u Skutče , Dolívka and Daletice in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of the village Lessany took place in the country table in 1392 , when Smil Flaška von Pardubitz handed over the Richenburg with the associated 62 villages to Otto von Bergow and Boček II of Podebrady .
In 1835, the in consisted Chrudim district located beside a forest Hessina rustic village Leschan or Lessany from 26 scattered houses where 142 people lived. To Leschan konskribiert were the repealed Fasanerie Wochos ( Ochoz ) - two houses - which was used as a forester's house of Wochoser forestry mining area, as well as the stratification of Hessian ( Hesiny ) - two houses - and Spalena Saska ( Spálená Sazka ). A poplar avenue led from Leschan to the Richenburger Meierhof . The Wochoser Revier was one of the five forest districts of the rule and managed seven insignificant forest stretches that were scattered around Richenburg. The Leschaner Remise consisted mainly of very strong juniper bushes. The Catholic parish was Richenburg , the Protestants were assigned to the pastorate Krauna . Until the middle of the 19th century, Leschan remained subject to the Richenburg rule.
After the abolition of patrimonial Lešany formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Rychmburk in the judicial district of Skuch . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Lešany had 167 inhabitants. In 1897 the Polička – Skutsch railway was built. In 1900 180 people lived in Lešany, in 1910 there were 157. Lešany broke away from Rychmburk in 1925 and formed its own community. In 1930 Lešany had 145 inhabitants. In 1949 the community was assigned to the newly formed Okres Hlinsko, and since 1961 it has belonged to Okres Chrudim. On April 30, 1976 it was incorporated into Skuteč. In the 2001 census, 35 people lived in the 31 houses of Lešany.
Community structure
The layers Hesiny ( Hessin ), Ochoz ( Wochos ), Pangrotka and Spálená Sázka ( Spalena Saska ) belong to Lešany .
The district forms a cadastral district. Lešany is separated from the rest of the municipality of Skuteč, with the municipality of Předhradí in between.
