history

The first written mention of the village of Slavkov took place in 1447 when Wok von Sovinec acquired the Helfenstein rule . In 1464 Wok sold the property to Albrecht, Zdeňek and Jan Kostka von Postupitz ( z Postupic ) and Georg / Jiřík von Landstein and Morawan, who died in 1468. During the Bohemian-Hungarian wars, Albrecht von Postupitz, to whom the rule now belonged alone, sold the goods to Wilhelm II von Pernstein in 1474 . From 1480 the place was designated as Slavkov , from 1628 as Schlock , from 1672 as Schlaag , Schlag or Schlok , 1716 as Schack , 1771 as Slawkowium and 1846 as Schlog .

In the vicinity there were the villages Kožišov, Střítež and Zbyslavice. The former expired before 1544, ten years later Střítež was also called desolate. Slavsko is only documented in 1371. In 1554 Půta von Ludanitz ( z Ludanic ) acquired the Helfenstein castle and manor. After his death in 1560 he was followed by his son Wenzel / Václav. However, he died in 1571 without male descendants. His five-year-old daughter Katharina / Kateřina, who was placed under the guardianship of the Moravian governor Zacharias von Neuhaus , became the heir . She was married to Peter Wok von Rosenberg in 1580 . He sold the indebted Helfenstein rule with the Helfenstein Castle in 1592 to Heinrich / Hynek von Würben auf Freudenthal , a clergyman in Slavkov was mentioned for the first time. Heinrich and his son Georg von Würben auf Freudenthal promoted the spread of Lutheranism . Georg moved the seat of the Helfenstein rulership to the newly built Renaissance palace in Leipnik . Since he was a member of the Moravian Directory and 1619–1621 Oberstlandrichter von Moravia, his property was confiscated by the Emperor after the Battle of the White Mountain and the rule of Helfenstein with Leipnik was handed over to the Olomouc bishop Franz Xaver von Dietrichstein . The cardinal introduced the Counter Reformation . After his death in 1636, the Helfenstein rule remained with his descendants. The registers were kept in Leipnik since 1623 and on site since 1784. There is evidence of a school since 1815. Until the middle of the 19th century, Schlock always remained submissive to Leipnik.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Schlock / Slavkov 1850 a municipality in the district administration Moravian white churches and the judicial district Leipnik. In 1855 Schlock was assigned to the Leipnik district, from 1868 the village again belonged to the Mährisch Weißkirchen district. The inhabitants lived from agriculture or handicrafts. The Kaiserstraße ran through Schlock from Leipnik to Liebau . The school was also destroyed in the great fire of 1862. In 1900 there were 373 people in Schlock, 32 of them were Czechs. In 1905 a new school building was built. In 1921 the village had 320 inhabitants, of which 312 were Germans and eight Czechs. In 1930 there were 309 people living in the village. After the Munich Agreement , Schlock was added to the German Reich in 1938 and until 1945 belonged to the district of Bärn and the judicial district of the city of Liebau . In 1939, 326 people lived in Schlock . After the end of the Second World War, the village came back to Czechoslovakia and became part of the Okres Hranice and judicial district of Lipník again. The German residents were expelled. After the Libavá military training area was established, the village was dissolved after 1947. In 1949 Slavkov was assigned to the Okres Olomouc and incorporated into Město Libavá in 1950 . The village was demolished in the same year except for the church and the schoolhouse. The desert was repopulated in 1965 as a settlement of the military training area. The road from the Green Cross to Město Libavá no longer exists. In 1991 there were 119 people living in Slavkov.
