Kenya took the 18 athletes 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.
The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Henry Wanyioke . The most successful athlete in the Kenyan team was Henry Kiprono Kirwa . He won three gold medals in athletics in the 1,500, 5,000 and 10,000 meters in the T13 and T12 classes.
