Mexico took 73 athletes to the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Saul Mendoza .

The most successful athlete on the team was the swimmer Nely Miranda with two gold medals. In the medal ranking of nations, Mexico came 14th with 10 gold medals. With a total of 20 medals, they came in 20th place
