Sri Lanka took five athletes at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was Sandun Wasana Perera . The athlete Lal Pattiwila Arachchilage achieved the team's best result in the high jump class F44 / 46 with tenth place.
