Stacey Chepkemboi Ndiwa (born December 6, 1992 in the Keiyo District ) is a Kenyan middle and long distance runner .

Athletic career

Stacey Ndiwa gained her first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2008 in Bydgoszcz , where she finished twelfth with 4: 40.58 minutes in the 1500 meter run . She then won the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune in 4: 20.16 minutes . In 2011 she won the bronze medal at the Junior African Championships in Gaborone in 4: 15.84 minutes. At the 2015 World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang , she came in 5th and secured the silver medal in the team standings. In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time , where she won the silver medal behind Ugandan Stella Chesang with a new record of 31: 46.36 minutes . Then she won the African Championships in Asaba in 31: 31.17 min .
