The ninth studio album by the South Tyrolean German rock band Frei.Wild is still - undistorted and hard-strung and at the same time the group's first acoustic album. It was released on November 22, 2013 on the Rookies & Kings label as a standard, premium and deluxe edition, including DVD.

The album contains both acoustic versions of some songs from the eight previously released studio albums, as well as previously unreleased songs. The premium edition also contains a documentary DVD for the 2013 summer tour. The deluxe edition also contains various international versions of the track Ass Kick .

Like its predecessor Feinde einer Feinde , the album immediately topped the German album charts and was ranked 7th in the following week. Still stayed in the Top 100 for 19 weeks. In the German annual charts 2013, the album was 27th.

On November 8, 2013, the song Verdammte Welt was released as a single in advance of the album, for which a music video was also released on November 13, 2013. The song entered the German charts at number 46. Videos were also published for the titles Lies and Nice Fairy Tales , Show Big Balls and Your Ass, and Kick Ass vs. Ass kick .

Sales number and award

In 2014 Still received a gold record in Germany for more than 100,000 units sold . In May 2017 the album was also awarded gold in Austria for over 7,500 sales.

" Provocation was yesterday, the air is out. The South Tyroleans have clearly adjusted their lines and tones. What remains is the boredom of a musically and lyrically equally striking mediocrity, which without the necessary scandal does not leave the smallest trace of its own contour. […] Frei.Wild's problem is quickly identified: A polished, pseudo-playful claim with semi-acoustic, a little more percussion, hinted blues here and a little ska there half-heartedly pretends a development that doesn't really exist.
