Stubbes Urlaub is a German television film by Christa Mühl from 1995. It is the third film in the ZDF crime film series Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall with Wolfgang Stumph in the title role.

action

Commissioner Wilfried Stubbe is taking his annual vacation with his families after the stressful move. All family members are busy preparing for camping and are looking forward to the free time together, only Stubbe's son Fabian is more important to help his new friend Tim. This was brutally beaten up by the arms dealer and pimp Richy Kaiser and the police do not take the matter so seriously. For them, it's just a fight between jealous rivals. Fabian Stubbe therefore tries to help his friend on his own, after all he is the son of a successful detective inspector. On the pretext of wanting to stay in the house to protect Aunt Charlotte, he excludes himself from family vacation and does not go to the sea. To do this, he spies on Tim's tormentor and takes the girl off him, which is why Emperor Tim had beaten up. He is noticed by the plainclothes officers who, contrary to Fabian's expectations, are monitoring the emperor. Zimmermann believes it is his duty to inform his colleague Stubbe that his son is regularly in Kaiser’s local pub. Wilfried Stubbe is therefore clear that Fabian wants to hunt down the criminal on his own, which can be very dangerous. Therefore Wilfried interrupts his vacation and immediately travels to Hamburg. Fabian is not very enthusiastic that his father suddenly shows up with him and prefers to settle the matter alone. He comes dangerously close to Kaiser and even has to flee from him. However, his father has also taken up the Kaiser's trail and comes to his son's aid. There is a shooting in a warehouse in which Fabian is slightly injured. Kaiser can be arrested and a conviction is certain based on weapons found in his car.

The next day Wilfried travels back to the sea with Fabian and the whole family can now enjoy the rest of the holiday together. The two do not reveal anything about Fabian's dangerous adventure.
