Commissioner Wilfried Stubbe can hardly take care of his still fresh home in Hamburg and his family, because he is always called to action. His superior Gessler assigns him the clarification of an attack on a well-known Hamburg street musician, which he assumes will be done quickly. The injured Alfons Müller believes that he has recognized the music producer Dieter Schaller as the perpetrator. However, he only sees the allegation as defamation and can provide an alibi for the time of the crime. Since there is now another attack on Alfons Müller, the case does not seem to be resolved so quickly. Stubbe gradually recognizes a pattern of crime when further attacks on other street performers follow. In this way he actually succeeds in convicting Dieter Schaller as the instigator of the attacks. He had people beaten up to extort protection money from them.

In doing so, she relies on the active help of her husband to keep the costs within reasonable limits. Aunt Charlotte, who provides the necessary funds, assumes that only the defective roof will be repaired and is initially not very enthusiastic about the renovation work that has now started and the associated noise. However, she has briefly entrusted her capital to the financial expert Crysantus John, with whom she unexpectedly falls in love. However, she has to find sobering that he has invested her money for five years and betrayed her. This upsets her so much that she has a heart attack and has to go to the clinic. There she met a patient who encouraged her to take action against the fraudster. But Wilfried also makes inquiries about Crysantus John and can convict him as a fraud.
