Sućuraj ( Italian San Giorgio ) is a Dalmatian fishing village in Croatia . The municipality has 463 inhabitants, while the village of Sućuraj has 357 inhabitants (2011 census). The village is located on the eastern tip of the island of Hvar near the mainland.

Sućuraj is a tourist destination thanks to its beaches, where you can swim from May to November. The climate is dry and characterized by the summer winds Mistral and Tramontana .

Infrastructure

Sućuraj is connected to the mainland by a car ferry to Drvenik . The ferry runs several times a day with a journey time of around 30 minutes.
