The Suzuki Splash (type designations EXB22 and EXB32) is a microvan model in the minivan class that, like its predecessor, shares its platform with the Opel Agila . The vehicle was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main in 2007 and was available in Germany from April 2008. A study with the same name was previously shown at the 2006 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris. The Splash was made together with the Opel Agila at Magyar Suzuki Zrt. built in Esztergom (Hungary).
Engines
The Splash, which is only available with five doors, was offered with a choice of three engines: two gasoline engines from Suzuki and a common rail diesel with a particle filter from the cooperation between General Motors and Fiat, which is produced by Suzuki in India.
The one-liter engine with 48 kW (65 hp) was only available in the Splash “Basic” for € 9,990. The 1.2 liter engine has an output of 63 kW (86 PS) and costs € 3,010 more (€ 2,510 extra for the “Club” equipment). This engine was also available with a 4-speed automatic for a further € 2600 (including € 1300 surcharge for the "Comfort" equipment included). The Splash 1.3 DDiS with a diesel engine with 55 kW (75 hp) was the most expensive model at a price of € 14,700 ("Club") or € 16,000 ("Comfort").

Furnishing
The trunk volume is 178-1050 liters; the turning circle 9.4 meters.
The Splash was only available in two exterior colors (white and red) at no extra charge. It was only possible to order a separate metallic paint for € 380 - further additional equipment was only included in the "Club" and "Comfort" models for reasons of rational production:
- The basic version included, among other things, four airbags (2 front airbags, 2 side airbags), height adjustment of the steering wheel as well as the driver and front passenger seats, power steering, power windows at the front, one-piece foldable rear seat backrest, radio preparation with roof antenna and four loudspeakers as well as central locking with radio control ,
- In the "Club" version (supplement 2510 €) additionally included were two up in the rear-reaching curtain airbags, an electronic stability program with switchable traction control (TCSS, Traction Control Support System), electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, the DDiS ( Diesel) heated seats in the front, a 60:40 foldable rear seat backrest and air conditioning with pollen filter (from 2010 with leather steering wheel, radio and heated seats)
- The Splash "Comfort" (surcharge € 1300) also had fog lights, a leather steering wheel, heated seats at the front (also in conjunction with a gasoline engine), 15-inch aluminum wheels and a CD radio with steering wheel control (until 2010, afterwards only available as Basic or Club ).
Facelift
In spring 2012, the Splash received a slight facelift, including an enlarged radiator grille, a rounded bonnet and redesigned sockets for the fog lights. The rear bumper got air outlet holes.
Production of the Splash ended at the end of 2014.
Registration numbers
Between 2008 and 2015 a total of 31,612 Suzuki Splashes were newly registered in Germany. Over a third of all vehicles were registered in 2009. This is due to the environmental bonus .
Electric version
From July 2010, the North Hessian company German E Cars converted the Splash to an electric drive and delivered it as an electric vehicle under the name Stromos. During the conversion, the battery was housed in the rear and in the tunnel, the combustion engine was removed and an electric motor was flanged to the gearbox flange. The manual transmission was retained.
