Tafern is a district of the Markt Indersdorf market in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .

The place is five and a half kilometers north of the main town Markt Indersdorf on the district road DAH 16 and about 39 kilometers northwest of Munich

history

The wasteland Tafern was called Täffern (inn) in 1597 . The manor and jurisdiction lay with the Hofmark Weichs . Later Tafern belonged to the municipality of Ainhofen and since January 1, 1972 to Markt Indersdorf.
