The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles was a TV tribute concert for the band The Beatles . It was broadcast live on CBS on February 9, 2014 . The broadcast was retried on February 12, 2014. Presented by the Recording Academy , AEG Ehrlich Ventures and the CBS television network, the concert was a reminiscent of Beatles history and was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show .

The concert program, presented by the Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS, looked back on the history of the Fab Four and its first appearance on the US television show The Ed Sullivan Show . It was broadcast on February 9, 2014, showing the recording of the January 27, 2014 event in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center . The recording took place the day after the 56th Grammy Awards were presented.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr , the two surviving members of the band, performed together.
Video clips of the Beatles in The Ed Sullivan Show were also included in the program, as were interview passages by Paul and Ringo with David Letterman in Studio 50 of the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York .
