Titus Vadon (born May 25, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian drummer , musician , composer , actor , singer and director .

Live and act

Titus Vadon started playing the drums at the age of nine and was already playing live in a dance music band at the age of 11. He made his first record in 1979 as a drummer in the group "Ferrum" . In 1981 he dropped out of school at the age of 18 and devoted himself only to the stage and music. With the group “Lamu” he gained experience as a drummer at home and abroad, and as a singer and actor he was on the road with the music theater group “Abgrund” at that time . Numerous musical collaborations followed, including with Günther “Mo” Mokesch , Rudi Nemecek from Minisex , Eberhard Forcher from Tom Pettings Hertzattacken , Mike Majzen and “Dos a Dos” with whom he also released a single. Shortly thereafter, the group "Strange Guys" was founded . Then he founded his first own formation "Titus & the End Band" with which he also released a single. In 1990 Mike Majzen founded the group "Jesus Messerschmitt" with whom he toured Germany, Switzerland and Austria, released three albums and also played a tour in England.

1990 was also the year in which he went to the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time as a band member with Simone , the second time in 1999 with Bobbie Singer . In the 90s he also accompanied Bluatschink , Brunner & Brunner , Drahdiwaberl and some Hungarian productions. On workshop tours he has accompanied international artists such as Neal Schon from Journey , Ken Hensley from Uriah Heep and Steve Bailey . In Hungary he had his own band for two years - "Titus és az Oroszlán" - in which he worked as the lead singer. In 1998 he founded "the Balaton Combo" , which then toured Austria and Germany for the next eight years. After the turn of the millennium he played drums for productions by Wolfgang Ambros , Roman Gregory from " Alkbottle " , Michael Tschugnall and other artists from " Starmania " .

During this period his interest in film music grew, which in parallel with his stage work gained in importance. In 2002 he wrote and played the cabaret with Günther “Gunkl” Paal with the simple title “2” . In 2005 he founded the new line-up of the band " Russkaja " with Georgij Alexandrowitsch Makazaria, with whom he released two albums and toured Europe for six years. At the beginning he also accompanied Drew Sarich in his rock formation and later produced for him in his singer / songwriter productions and founded the "Endwerk Orchestra" for this purpose . Since 2006 he has been running his own recording studio in which he dedicates himself to film music productions.

His interest in stage productions as an actor continued during this time and so he played the play "Circus der Hallucinations" in the Rabenhof Theater with the Hallucination Company or in the Wiener Stadtsaal in "Petrol Station of the Damned" by Georg Ringsgwandl in the Viennese version by Thomas Maurer .

In addition to the current film music compositions , he founded his own new group "Polkagott" in 2015, with which he is currently working and has already produced the first single "Mädchen mit Face" . In 2017 he founded the duo "the Lasso Brothers" with Dieter Kolbeck which interprets German cowboy songs.
