Tkon ( Italian Tuconio ; German  Techun ) is a village on the island of Pašman in Croatia .

location

Tkon is located in the eastern part of the island of Pašman. It is the largest town and port for the ferry connection to Biograd .

history

The fishing village of Tkon was settled by Illyrians early on . On the mountain Ćokovac, near Tkon, there is a Benedictine monastery , which was rebuilt in the 14th century and in which some monks still live today.
