Tobias Hoesl

Tobias Hoesl (born September 29, 1961 in Munich , Bavaria ) is a German actor .

Life

Tobias Hoesl was born as the second of four brothers in Munich. He is the son of a German and a Swede . He received ballet lessons as a child . At the age of eight he danced in the children's ballet of the Bavarian State Opera . In the ZDF music show hosted by Ernst Stankovski Do you recognize the melody? he had his first television appearance as a dancer. He studied at the Munich Music Academy and continued at the School of American Ballet in New York City . He completed his acting training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum , now the Bochum Drama School .

The Italian film director Dino Risi hired him straight from drama school for his film comedy ... and life goes on , where Hoesl played alongside international stars such as Virna Lisi , Vittorio Mezzogiorno , Philippe Leroy and Sylva Koscina . In the following years, Hoesl regularly took on television and cinema roles abroad, mainly in Italian and French productions.

In 1985 he played the role of the fictional lieutenant von Treskow, based on historical models, in the multi-part war drama Morenga directed by Egon Günther . Also in 1985 he starred alongside Giulietta Masina in the Czechoslovak fairy tale film Frau Holle . In 1986 the Italian film adaptation of the novel La Storia followed , directed by Luigi Comencini , where Claudia Cardinale and Francisco Rabal were his partners. In 1987 he was seen in the Czechoslovak fairy tale film The Peacock Feather . In 1990 he played in the movie Dr. M by Claude Chabrol. Another fairy tale film followed in 1991 with the Norwegian production The Polar Bear King . In 1996, Hoesl played the role of the scheming villain James Guilford in the international adventure series The Return of Sandokan with Kabir Bedi as a partner.

Since the mid-1980s, Hoesl can also be seen regularly in numerous German television productions. Among other things, he played in the television series Die Schwarzwaldklinik and Das Traumschiff . He was often seen in crime series, including Tatort , Derrick , Der Alte and Siska . In the television series Klinik unter Palmen he played the role of the surgeon Ulf Wallin in several episodes .

He also played in several television films, where he embodied a different range of roles. In Der Mond im See (2004), a novel adaptation by Utta Danella , he was the unsteady husband, in Der Arzt vom Wörthersee (2007–2009) the tough clinic manager, in Meine wonderful Familie (2010) the younger partner of an aging chansonette.

Occasionally Hoesl also played theater . In 2006, for example, he was on tour with his colleague Marion Mitterhammer in a production of the Neue Schaubühne München with the play Geliebte Hexe , a romantic comedy .
