The Tower Hill Wölkendorf is an Outbound medieval motte (moth) approximately in the center of Wölkendorf , in the municipality of Stadelhofen in the district of Bamberg in Bavaria . No historical or archaeological information is known about this Niederungsburg , it is roughly dated to medieval times. A stone building was located on the tower hill, which is now largely destroyed and built over, until around 1900. The site is protected as a ground monument number D-4-5933-0114 "Medieval tower hill".

The moth system is located on the upper western edge of a valley sloping towards the south, which flows into the Paradiestal . The round hill has a diameter of 20 and a height of over two meters. Up until 1900, a one-story stone building stood on this tower hill, measuring around nine by six meters. The hill was originally surrounded by a moat about five meters wide. Today the ditch is largely filled, only in the north it has been preserved, on the west and north-west side it has been expanded to a village pond. On the outside of this trench there was an approximately five meter wide ring wall as additional protection, which has only been preserved on the north and east sides, destroyed on the remaining sides and partially built over.
