The section fortification Bischofsgraben is a defunct prehistoric section fortification (Wallburg), in which a castle, which could be the castle Oberwiesentfels , was probably built during the High Middle Ages . The stable of the section castle is located on a dolomite rock spur on the west bank of the Wiesent about 20 to 25 meters steeply above the Bischofsgraben, a side valley of the Wiesent, about 700 meters west of Wiesentfels and 1100 meters southeast of Treunitz .
Several section walls and remains of moats have been preserved from the former fortification .
