The qualification for the U-17 soccer Asian Cup 2006 was held between November 13, 2005 and February 15, 2006 to determine the 15 participants alongside hosts Singapore .

mode

The 39 applicants were divided into 14 regional groups. The first in the group qualified for the final round. All groups were played in a single round in one city or - in groups of two - with a round trip. The two best placed runners-up in the groups of three determined the last participant in play-off games.
