The UCI Women's WorldTour 2016 (WWT) was the first edition of the Women's WorldTour newly introduced by the UCI World Cycling Federation . It replaced the women's cycling world cup , which was held from 1998 to 2015.

The Women's WorldTour 2016 comprised 35 racing days between March and September, divided into four stage races and 13 one-day races . The races took place in nine countries, but none of them in a German-speaking country. Eight races will be broadcast live on television.

In March 2016, the UCI announced that from this year the Women Junior Nations' Cup will also be held for juniors , a racing series exclusively for riders aged 17 to 18 years.
