UK Open Order of Merit
The UK Open Order of Merit is a ranking list in darts that is responsible for qualifying for the UK Open . It is not to be confused with the PDC Order of Merit and the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit .
meaning
In the run-up to the UK Open, six qualifying tournaments, the UK Open Qualifiers , will be held. The prize money earned there is recorded in this special ranking list, which is used to determine the participants in the UK Open. The best 96 qualify for the UK Open and start in the 1st round, the best 64 start in the 2nd round, and the best 32 only start in the 3rd round.
Since the 2019 season, the first 128 players in the Order of Merit have automatically qualified for the UK Open. Without the qualifying tournaments, the UK Open Order of Merit will no longer play a role in the seeding list in the tournament.
