The Uzbek U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Uzbek soccer players . It reports to the UFF and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at the U-23 Asian championships and the football tournaments of the Summer Olympics and the Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament. Uzbekistan took part in the U-23 Asian Cup three times and became Asian champions in 2018 . The quarter-finals were reached at the Asian Games in 2006 , 2010 and 2018 .
Eligible to play are players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Uzbek citizens.
