The Verbandsgemeinde Kyllburg was an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional body in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate . The municipality of the association included the city of Kyllburg and 20 independent local communities , the administrative seat was in the eponymous city of Kyllburg.
The area of the Verbandsgemeinde Kyllburg was roughly congruent with the landscape " Kyllburger Waldeifel ". The Verbandsgemeinde had an equally balanced economic structure, which consisted of a mixture of trade, agriculture, service companies and tourism.
The Verbandsgemeinde Kyllburg was dissolved on July 1, 2014, the associated communities were assigned to the new Verbandsgemeinde Bitburger Land together with the communities of the former Verbandsgemeinde Bitburg-Land .
