Constitutional referendum in Turkey in 1982
The second national constitutional referendum was held in Turkey on November 7, 1982.
Following the military coup of 1980 , a constitutional commission created a new constitution in 1981 to replace the Turkish constitution of 1961 . It was accepted in a vote of 91.37% of the voters, 8.63% were against.
