Vitinho (born October 9, 1993 in Rio de Janeiro ; real name Victor Vinícius Coelho dos Santos ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The two-footed player is used alternatively on the right or left attacking side.

Career

Vitinho started his career in the youth team of Audax Rio de Janeiro and Botafogo FR . In the second, he also made the leap into the first team. On April 23, 2011, he played his first game as a professional in the Campeonato Carioca . He played against Boavista SC from the start and was replaced on the 73rd minute. It wasn't until two years later that he played his first league game. He played against Corinthians São Paulo on May 26, 2013 from the 66th minute.

In the same year, the player moved to CSKA Moscow . The contract ran until 2020. It was here that he made his first international appearance at club level. In the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League , Vitinho played against FC Bayern Munich up to the 45th minute on September 17 . With the club he was able to win the Russian championship that season.

In February 2015 Vitinho was loaned to SC Internacional in Brazil . At the end of its second season with Internacional, the club was relegated at the end of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2016 for the first time in the championship history (counting from 1971). Vitinho has scored eight goals in 28 games this season.

After returning to Moscow, he stayed there until the end of July 2018. Then he moved back to Brazil. Vitinho signed a contract with Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . With a transfer fee of 10 million euros, it was Flamengo's most expensive purchase to date. With the club he won the Copa Libertadores 2019 on November 23, 2019 . One day later, the preliminary decision in favor of Flamengo was made in the 2019 Brazilian championship and Vitinho was also able to celebrate this title.
