Politically belonged Voßsiepen formerly the Office Waldenburg and Gogericht and parish Attendorn to peasantry Langenohl , who also surrounding places like Uelhof , Wörmge , Listernohl u. a. belonged to. In the appraisal register of 1543, a Hennecken uf dem Vosssiepen with a tax of one gold gulden is named in the Langenoiler Baurschektiven with 9 taxpayers . At the beginning of the 18th century it was managed by Heinrich Siberkus, who had to go to prison in 1721 for counterfeiting. His daughter Katharina married Anton Schnütgen in 1725. The Schnütgen family stayed on the farm for a century until the Bender family took it over in the 19th century. The address book from 1899 lists the name "Saalhof (Royal Fisherman Master)". The Weber family took over the farm in the 20th century.

The address book from 1929 lists the names "Heller, Marr and Weber (farmer)" in Vosssiepen. The address book from 1956 lists the names "Josef Weber, Paul Weber (both farmers) and Robert Weber (commercial employee)". At the end of 1988 there were 5 residents in the village.

From 1819 Vosssiepen belonged in the Attendorn office to the Attendorn-Land community until it was incorporated into the city of Attendorn in 1969.

The former Vosssiepen farm in a secluded location is now the home and headquarters of ferntec Haustechnik. The Bigge Lister hiking trail runs past as a circular hiking trail at the top.
