Albin Walter Norblad junior (born September 12, 1908 in Escanaba , Michigan , †  September 20, 1964 in Bethesda , Maryland ) was an American politician .

Norblad was born in Michigan in 1908 to the future governor of Oregon , Albin Walter Norblad . That same year, his family moved to Astoria , Oregon. He attended the New Mexico Military Academy at Roswell and studied at the University of Oregon at Eugene . In 1932 he finished his studies and was accepted into the bar. Norblad began to practice in Astoria. From 1935 to 1937 he was an MP in the Oregon House of Representatives . As a member of the Republican Party , Norblad was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1940in Philadelphia .

Norblad was elected to Congress in a special election to fill the vacant seat of the late James W. Mott in the House of Representatives . Thus Norblad represented the state of Oregon from January 18, 1946 until his death on September 20, 1964. Norblad was buried in the Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton , Oregon.

In the special election made necessary by Norblad's death, Republican Wendell Wyatt was elected to the United States House of Representatives.
