Warren Peters (born July 10, 1982 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League since July 2012 .

Career

Warren Peters began his career as a hockey player with the Saskatoon Blades , for which he was active in the Western Hockey League from 1997 to 2003 . Towards the end of the 2002–03 season , the attacker made his American Hockey League debut when he was once on the ice for the Portland Pirates . The following two years Peters played for the Idaho Steelheads from the ECHL , as well as in the 2003/04 season for the AHL club Utah Grizzlies .

In the summer of 2005, Peters, who had never been drafted , was signed as a free agent by the Calgary Flames . First, the Canadians played two years for the onetime farm team , the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the AHL, and a season for its successor team, the Quad City Flames , before 7 December 2008 at the away game against the New York Rangers be Made debut for the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League .
