WE ARE P ART OF CULTURE (WAPOC), subtitles * The prominent contribution of LGBTTIQ in social development in Europe is an art exhibition of the nonprofit project 100% MAN , as traveling exhibition was conceived and in the years 2017-2019 in railway stations of Deutsche Bahn shown becomes. In the foreword to the exhibition catalog, Federal Minister Katarina Barley explained that the exhibition shows "extraordinary lives, the pioneering work and the scientific and cultural achievements of lesbian , gay , bisexual , trans and intersexual (LGBTI) people."
The art exhibition WE ARE P ART OF CULTURE shows over 30 LGBTTIQ * personalities from antiquity to the 20th century, who have had a lasting impact on European society and culture. The portraits of the personalities, such as B. Virginia Woolf, Alan Turing, Friedrich II. Of Prussia, Christina of Sweden, Lili Elbe and Selma Lagerlöf were featured by nationally and internationally known artists such as B. Ralf König (Cologne), Robert W. Richards (NY), Gerda Laufenberg (Cologne), Anne Bengard (Berlin) specially created for the exhibition. The styles used from ink, acrylic, stencil and drawing to cartoon and illustration are as varied as the personalities presented.

The exhibition started on September 27, 2017 in Berlin and was then shown in the cities of Frankfurt am Main , Cologne , Düsseldorf , Duisburg , Essen , Bochum , Mainz , Dresden , Karlsruhe , Dortmund , Stuttgart , Munich , Münster , Mannheim , Berlin Ostbahnhof, Nuremberg and Freiburg shown. Further exhibitions are planned for 2019.
