Wedehorn is located in the southwestern area of the city of Bassum, six kilometers south of the core town of Bassum. The village Wedehorn consists of Klövenhausen and Wedehorn.
The Bassumer Utkiek , an 87 meter high, artificially raised mountain, is located in the Wedehorn district on the site of the AbfallWirtschaftsGesellschaft (AWG) mbH - Bassum waste disposal center .
