World hockey player

The World Hockey Federation (FIH) has been honoring the world's best female and male hockey players every year since 1998 . Since 2001 there have also been awards for players under the age of 23. Since 2014 the best goalkeepers and the best coaches have been chosen. The best referees have also been honored since 2015.

From 2006 to 2011 the world federation also named an FIH All-Star Team, which included eighteen players from different nations and two coaches.
