Churches
The Evangelical Parish Church in the center of the village was built from 1827 to 1830 in place of the dilapidated Gothic village church according to the plans and under the direction of the Prussian architect Friedrich Louis Simon . The late- classical building is a cross-church designed that that altar is on the long side, across the aisle . The façade is clearly structured with high arched windows and horizontal cornices , while the east side is emphasized by a central risalite .
The tower was originally shorter and built with a flat, truncated roof; In 1863/64 it was supplemented by an octagonal tower pyramid with a slated half-timbered top. The interior of the church is two-storey with a circumferential gallery supported by 20 wooden Tuscan columns . The coffered ceiling is decorated with gold stars on a blue background based on the antique model. The highlight of the room is the pulpit on the west side of the gallery opposite the organ .
In 1992/93 the interior of the church was extensively restored.
