Others

With 12 World Cup appearances, Tie Yana set a new record for women.

Due to the cancellations of Ding Ning and Liu Shiwen , no Chinese took part in the World Cup for the first time. Miu Hirano managed to become the youngest and first non-Chinese World Cup winner at the age of 16. Fan Zhendong in the men's race also became the youngest World Cup winner at 19 years and 8 months. ( Kong Linghui was the only other player to win gold in 1995 when he was under 20 years of age, and his 20th birthday 3 days later)
